You have to take in consideration that Ospreay was a simple cruiserweight a couple of years ago and he actually put on a lot of size and mass in order to be pushed as a main guy in Japan. Unless you get on the gas or you're just blessed with on-in-a-million genetics, you dont put on an AJ/Eli Drake physique in few years, it takes decades of lifting and dieting. thats the only point i kinda disagree

Sean Waltman, considered one of the smallest guys in his era, is about 2 or 3 inches taller and 10-15 pounds bulkier than Adam Cole. Hit the weights, bay-bay. I'm not saying you have to be huge to be a pro wrestler on TV, plenty of examples of smaller guys getting over like Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio. But it's easier to get behind a small guy in a land of giants. AEW's big heel faction are two small guys, and Okada who is mostly quiet/passive. There's just nothing intimidating about them at all. It looks like a Golden Retreiver next to two chihuahuas. Conversely, Nash/Hall/Hogan standing together in a room is scary af even if they're smiling.

wwe is not getting beat on phyiques, because there booking is built around that look. aew is a work rate company in ecw, fun content mold. aew's issue is Kahn won't build his show around audience accessible for success, so he's bundling and wonking his show, due to fearing success with show he does not like. Women's matches and the NJPW talents signings are cakewalk to key demos cable needs. @smadas4192 oh for sure people also always like to live in past grandeur and pretend it was better than it was. Big sexy as much as I love him was never a great in ring talent and couldn't compete athletically with the top 10 guys in any promotion. What's the best diesel or nash match that you have ever heard any professional say go back and watch that match that's how it's done? I'll wait. Find the video of someone pointing to nash and saying see that in ring skill that's how you work. Great at talking and being arrogant. Big guys usually are

Anyone who wants to get upset about what I said name your favorite kevin nash match. Oh wait not one comes to mind huh? Look I love Kevin for what he did with the nwo and diesel was cool but it's a fact as we age we all remember our glory days far more glorious than they actually were and become much more smug and self righteous in our opinions. Also goes hand in hand with being out of touch. Hate aew all you want guys it's what made wwe good again and guys like adam Cole are way more successful and relevant than any of you but yeah I'm the salty one ha

@@coreyhutcherson8425 your so wrong with everything you say! And once leaving and HHH being in charge is what made WWE good again! Not aew trash! Khan tried to live on replicating attitude era and hiring a ton of ex WWE which he said he'd never do! They will go the way of WCW in the end and will never come close to the success they had!

No one would even notice 90% of the AEW roster if they walked into a bar or restaurant because most of them look like 140 pound guys that change oil for a living.
