Yamato is damn impressive too. Very good boxing skills and unorthodox combos for a MT fighter.

Look his fight against Liam Harrisson. Yamato is a cool fighter, 100% relaxed.

Kev got robbed in this, clearly winning 3 out of 5 rounds. Yamato still a beast though, huge respect to both fighters.

Kevin Ross! ❤️ of a Lion my friend! 🥊 I love watching you mix up the combo's, It's a beautiful thing! You are a legend! Many many 🙏! I thought you won that btw but it was so close. Yeah you got cut, but to me you clearly landed more shots.

I’ve watched this like 3x and I just cannot wrap my head around how the judges scored this for Yamato? I thought it was clear for Kevin, 3-2 all day

Ross, you want to do like a practice. You have to kick hard because your opponents play hard. If not, I will lose boxing forever.

I think so too but I can see an argument for the 5th round being a 10-8 for Yamato, but if my math isn’t failing me that would make it a draw.

I like Ross's style pretty much, very unique, but he needs more fights, in terms of muay Thai, you really need many many fights to be the top notches, many nak muays say you need 60 to 70 fights in order to do some things inside the ring, to really got a hang of it, including listening to the corner and react smoothly and accurately or changing game plans during the fights, mastering in what I mentioned here has differences in only doing them. too bad Ross is aged now, he should have gone to thailand and fought that for a few years when he was younger.

he didn't step into a gym until he was 22? I think. shame like a lot say, but that said hes still getting better imo, though hes changed style a bit for kickboxing

@@GoulouMaloukutbh that makes it even more impressive he started at 23, most guys that start late get by on having extreme punching power to finish fights early. Kevin is more technical, good technique and fight IQ. That too at his weight class, most the late starter power punchers are heavyweights
