First good board I ever tried was a never summer fun slinger. I had no business riding that board, had no intention of doing any park but it was so much fun riding it compared to the shitty rentals and got me hooked on snowboarding. I still suck at riding but having a board you enjoy really makes a difference.

Thanks buddy for the continued uploads. Missing it this year as we are back in lockdown here in the U.K. meaning that we can not even get to the indoor snowdomes at the moment and with travel banded to the U.S. for us as our ESTA’s have been revoked, our annual trip to mammoth won’t be happening in March. Looking forward to riding my warpig when we are allowed back out. Cheers. Mark.

Love your content TJ. I am looking for a new all round freeride board that is quick and nimble but will hold up when bombing, but not too locked in and catchy. How does the Swift compare to the K2 Excavator? They both look like fun one board quivers

Great review, TJ! I can't wait for the Harpoon review. Maybe more versatile than this? Maybe not? I wish you would have been able to get a Hammer from NS. Most people's hang up with them seems to be the rocker profiles; so I wonder how a true camber NS board is, in 2020?

Have a 157 Swift from a couple years ago and love it. Tried it with Atlas and just recently with Falcors...wondering if you have a preference between those two bindings for this board? I found the Atlas (last years Atlas) much better in deep pow on the swift..felt really super stable like you could not fall. I found the Falcors you could absolutely leave trenches carving without any effort...but it would dump you in deep pow and the board did not feel stable to me at all in deep pow. I am curious if you tried other bindings and if you found similar? Fwiw I ride forward angles both feet - have to because of my back knee.

@@justinbordwell4654 didn't work in what way? NS has tens of thousands of satisfied customers of all levels. Pretty sure there are a few pros riding them, not just ppl who go 5x a year. Lol. You don't have to like them but their boards "work" just fine. And if you don't like them, why did you buy a 2nd one? And they also make stiff boards as well. You just have to pick the appropriate board for your style and terrain of choice.

What would u suggest as a safe base cleaner. Basically my board came without plastic wrap and the sticker left a mark on the base. I'm wanting to wax it before I take it out
@BoardArchive
3 жыл бұрын
I would do a hot scrape. Just use any wax (preferably an inexpensive wax) and wax the board as usual and then immediately scrape it while the wax is still warm. That will remove most of the dirt and get the board ready for a proper wax
