My best youth memories are exactly with video games. Yeah i did all the other stuff too, smoking and drinking in secret, trying to work out, tuned my dirt bike, had a few girlfriends etc but my best times i had when i was young were when i played online games with my friends. Im 30 and i think so fondly of those times to this day. So kids: do whatever tf you want, as long as it's at least kinda productive at some level and most of all what makes you happy. You'll probably lose interest in video games at some point when you grow up, so take some time and play with your friends ppl, as long as it doesnt consume your entire life. You're young and relatively stress-free only for a short while so do what makes you happy, whether its video games or gym or anything. You might even make a career out of it.

I spent hours playing on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Gameboy, whatever. I learned lessons and skills from both. Both forms of pastime, reading and playing, are essential for kids to develop skills they take with them the rest of their lives. Both are as important as learning how to work. And all three: work, reading, and playing, are less important than rest. Video games are just an entertainment, just like basketball, boxing and reading, you can argue with that other entertainments have more to offer, but they’re still the same. Time is the most valuable asset we have, but it doesn’t mean we can not spend it on entertainment or relaxing, maybe you’re discipline enough to spend 100% of your free time on reading, but it doesn’t mean everyone can, and it shouldn’t be a life style to promote, because it is mentally unhealthy for most people.

No answer because they were so concentrated « I unplugged the video game, took it and went to the parking lot and trow it very hard, it was into pieces.
