The KIA EV9 is a stunning looking car. It really has a present.

Thanks for the review Marek. A lot of SUV for a lot of money :) The EV9 is way too big for us and what we use our car for, but I can appreciate that it does it's job well. I can tell that it's one of those cars that the designers really put a lot of thought into. I'm keen to see how Kia and Hyundai handle smaller (and more affordable) EVs.

I like it! Very practical and stylish. As you say, it would make a great hotel shuttle. Not my kind of car, but a big beast you'd feel safe in.

Best wishes to Anna! More Anna in the frame 🥰 In my opinion, no 7-seater SUV will be better than a minivan. And no 7-seater SUV will be better off-road than the same 5-seater SUV. So...any 7-seater SUV pointless, all over the Earth 🤷♂ Thanks for the review! 🤗🤍❤

Oh, there's plenty of me on our other channel - but all of that in Polish, alas. However, YT does subtitles translation. Far from perfect, but one can get the gist. BTW we're airing a new video tonight!

funny I programmed the steering wheel button exactly the same on my 3 day test drive. I had the same DAW Problem, I got also around 25 kWh/100km. I drive my HEV Sorento at around 6l/100km on the same roads at the same speeds. I loved every Km I drove.

Just finished driving the smaller 77-size battery 2WD base here on OZ. Seems to get over the 400KLM range without issues. Maybe cause of less weight. Everyone approached to say how they loved it, all sexes. But seemed a bit floaty if push hard like a Range Rover. So maybe it is trying to take over that role. Fills an OZ car space size so its big here also. KIA give same instructions on the speed warning reset. Manual second seat push button to fold OK but a bit of a push to get it back into position. Too big for me but other said they would easily own it.

IT"S SOOO "MERICAN!! Don't pronounce the A. hehe I love this car!! Great design, surprising road dynamics, but holy cow it's huge!! I can't own a car like this in a big city!! Thanks for the rainy review Marek!

It's not THAT big by NA standards :) I have a picture somewhere of Anna's aunt's Avalanche next to a Nissan Micra we rented to drive from London to Toronto. The Avalanche was big.

@@MarekDrivesENG For sure, but those people who own those huge vehicles don't like downtown Toronto. Luckily, I hear we are getting the EV5 here in Canada. Not for the US. I guess the US doesn't want a tiny vehicle like the EV5. LOL

I really love the interior colour, more companies should take a chance rather than just going with black, oyster etc. I like this one in general but I've had issues with the Kias I rented recently - in both cases the lane assist was far too sensitive and in both I found the seats too 'grabby' and narrow particularly around the shoulders. They were smaller models than this though (Niro, Ceed Sportwagon) - hopefully this is better.

Good looking car! Maybe I'm living in a 20 years ago price scale or money just cost nothing, but 84K for a KIA is too much. I'd vote for this car when the price will be in a range of maximum 65K.

Can’t help thinking “EV9 or Buzz”. For me, the Buzz would win. The intercom is cool, though. “Are we there yet?”
@MarekDrivesENG

Buzz looks cool, but it's basically an ID.4 with more boot space. They got rid of all the clever van stuff, which we grew to expect knowing the Sharan and Touran.

Hi Marek, great review. I have a question for you, do you think you are fine going with A Kia Sorento for example instead of the premium choice (eg Touareg, X5, Q7)? I value safety, comfort, reliability.
@MarekDrivesENG

Reliability? No idea. Premium? Different league. But I'd be fine with a Sorento instead of a Tiguan.

Not only is it hideous looking with its forceful futuristic design that looks out of place in any European city, it's also pointless like any other large and heavy electric SUV. Acceleration of 5.3sec for what, driving your kids to school? Or for the B roads with 80-100km/h limit where you can overtake everyone like a maniac? Oh yes, it's probably for the highway where the miserable range will have you looking for high power chargers every hour and a half. At least you can sleep in the car while you wait in line to recharge
