Great car and a lovely colour! You can pre hear the battery by allocating a charger on the sat nav. Great review! 👍🏼

Interesting review and good to get some tips to max the battery if in a pinch. But really I'd be more interested to see how it works in the real world, driving like you would regularly.

Great video, and great back ground tunes. Your enthusiasm really shines which gives me a boost as I’ve got one of these in order for a May ‘23 delivery. It’s a dull looking car but so many reviewers find it satisfying to drive; gives me hope

Dull looking? I think you’re in a very small minority with that view!

Well done. I enjoyed your experiment but I wouldn’t like to be stuck behind you in a long line of traffic while you are hypermiling!

I'm doing 200kms a day in one quite a hilly drive up and down to Cork from west Cork and I love it, the cold weather and hills deffo don't help the kwh/100km rate but its such a pleasure to drive. The same journey could take 18 or 19kwh/100 km if the weather is crap or you put the foot down but even with the climate control on auto and not driving miss daisy it will comfortably do 13.5-14kwh/100 kms and it would have barely any difference on the journey time, literally a few mins, it's all about finding the sweet spot and making best use of the regen 👌

I am very late commenting on this but its a good review. People who don't drive EV's will be saying ah that's no use you have to go really slow but I did try this with a diesel honda a few years ago after switching from a Chrysler voyager. The Chrysler did 12 liters/100km and I got the honda to do 3.5lt/100km. I know have an eNiro and while I can get it to do the numbers you reached I generally don't bother, jut motor on and charge up when you need to. Impressive performance so well done

Driving 45km/h under the speed limit is NOT dangerous!! If drivers driving at 120 can’t overtake an 80km /h car safely then they’re the ones that are causing the danger!! Driving at 50km/h is permitted on all Irish motorways, isn’t it? They wouldn’t be allowed if it was ‘dangerous!’

I do Letterkenny to South Belfast return regularly with a bit of driving around Belfast. I can do 350km and still come home with battery. I don't hold back on climate or speed lol 1 thing I'm not fond of and I see you had it too. Foggy windows. Just wish you could allow the outside air flow through the cabin to keep the windows clear like other cars. Enjoyed this review.

Have you come across Zombie mode in the Niro EV ? Scary stuff when the car refuses to go into Drive in a car park that is due to close shortly. No explanation yet from Kia other than a software error after utilising the remote climate system. Thankfully, normal service resumed after about 20 minutes..

I have its sister the Soul, and find climate control by no means "crucifies" range. Unless this model of the Niro does not have a heat pump which the Soul has. It doesn't matter using the brakes unless you stamp on them because it will use regen to slow down when you brake unless you need heavy braking.

Hi can you tell me how much it would have been to charge during the day and also at night rate at you’re owne house please I thought it would only code tit about €15 or so Interested as I am strongly considering buying a diesel still over an electric car thanks 🤛

Cold feet, steamed up windows, and a slow motorway drive are not incentives for me to dive into EV territory just yet.

My Niro EV 4 is 11 days old and I’m already having issues. The car often (3 times so far) refuses to move into gear. It seem it’s immobilised! I turn the car off and lock it then go back a few minutes later and it will start ok. Not good for a car that cost 43k

This review was a joke. In fact, I would call it dangerous. You're purposely driving way below the speed limit. 45km/h under the limit for the motorway gps speed. Additionally it's disingenuous to buyers because you're not showing real world consumption and range. It's clear you're trying to appease the manufacturer. You'll only gain credibility and grow subscribers by doing real world tests. Doing this type of nonsense won't help to grow the channel.
