Great review, thanks. What i would suggest for a small room like a bathroom or toilet is to have sensors that sense a body or movement. Because these panels heat up quickly you let them do that after you enter the room, a delay switches them off like they do with lights and ventilators. Saves tons of power while not being there. There are already mini panels that use less than 50 Watts, have the size of an LP and heat up even quicker. That is the way to go. Hopefully, manufacturers build these mini infrared panels already with a built-in body sensor and thermostat.

I'm thinking of getting one for my kitchen ,but what if the lead is too short to reach the socket ? I'm not an electrician.

You can easily fit a longer wire to the unit by removing the case in on the back or just use an extension socket Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Brilliant video, thanks a lot for that! 👍🥰 i’m getting a big panel myself for the kitchen to test. From what I learned from other videos and reports, it might be advisable to have the panels either on the ceiling, or on the wall without any object close by blocking the infrared waves. I’m not an expert, so don’t take my word for it! 😉 I have a PV system installed already, albeit only a small one (4.6 kwp) since my roof is not that big. But it works brilliantly, and thanks to the government grants we received to help with electricity in 2023, I actually have not paid a single penny for the whole of 2023 for electricity. I do have a small battery in the loft, but it has only 2.48 kW. I am getting an additional bigger one in the next six weeks. Currently my house is heated with mains gas, and my gas bill is about €1200 per year. Bearing in mind that the gas boiler is completely turned off 5 to 6 months of the year, I think by switching to infrared panels, I will save a good amount of money for heating.

I'm impressed by the strength of that tile at 8:30. Regular drill bit and hammer didn't cause a single crack. It's not even chipped at the edge of the hole.
