saw Kiasmos in Hamburg 2 weeks ago, i am overwhelmed
Are most of the people in that room dead? Doesn't look like there is much movement going on. I'm listening to this at home and can't stand still. A live gig like this? ... Would easily be my last. And wouldn't regret it. ;) Fantastic!

i would guess that the reason they're not moving much is because this music puts everyone in a trance like state, at least thats what it does for me. it sort of paralyzes the need to move much more, and it becomes a source of a moving meditation.

Olafur has said he was tired of people only dancing with their legs, and wanted to get them dancing with their hands as well. You can see in this video, he tries very hard... Humans are a weird bunch. :)

cóż, takie projekty zdarzają się rzadko, zbyt rzadko. taka muzyka jest esencją i emanacją kreatywności, zapada w pamięć dużo lepiej niż muzyka dla mas (nie mylić z Music for the Masses DM). To kryterium muzyki genialnej, muzyki donośnej, kreatywnej elektroniki dla wybrednych i zarazem wymagających tylko trochę więcej niż prosty beat i prosta forma. to coś co można polecić przyjacielowi w ostatnich chwilach ludzkiej egzystencji. mało?

You have a point. The guy on the right has more or less given up. The guy on the left is still trying to deceive us. And he keeps his knobs wide apart so his movement is obvious and noticed. He does rule in the head-bobbing though. Is that a talent? Why not just put Waldorf and Statdler (the two old men from the Muppets) up there.
