Your entire channel is the epitome of being a true guitar hero. I really like your pace which not only clarifies each chord well, without needless dwelling, but also explains their inversion from standard form in ways that make sense. Much obliged and best wishes!

Well done video. Great exploration into the chord dynamics that made Fagan/Becker music so interesting. Looking at how it's played, I'm thinking Kid Charlemagne (or at least the bones) may have been written on the guitar as I would assume most of their music is written from the piano. Thanks for this great lesson.

I think on record a lot of the chords were played mainly on the high strings, with a lot of low end on bass and keys.

Hi Dommcaffry3802, Obviously there is a lot going on in SD tunes. My aim with this channel is to show people how I would play these tunes with one guitar or with a trio or other small group. The voicings I'm using are coming from the keys, guitars, and anything else I can hear to put together a playable version on guitar. I hope you got something out of it. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Cheers!

Same comment as for "The Fez" Tim. Why are you making lessons for a great electric guitar song on acoustic?? Sounds ok on acoustic but not 1% as great as the SD electric version. I've never even thought of playing KC on acoustic

I cut and pasted my comment from the other song you commented on here. I said "Hi Peter, my main focus is to teach the song and not necessarily the guitar parts. There are other people who are teaching the guitar parts on youtube. I toured with my son for 15 years as a duo, acoustic guitar, fiddle, and mando. We do a few SD tunes. My goal is so you could pick up an acoustic guitar, or electric, and play the song with the correct chord changes (or at least as close as I can get them). I appreciate your comment but I hope you understand my logic. Thanks for watching. I see that you watched a couple of them and had the same thoughts. Hope that helps."
