As a teacher, I can say that he’s disturbingly too close to teachers I’ve known-- but, fortunately, there haven’t been too many. Anyway, the general thing about a teacher tying to be cool and making presumptions, and making everyone cringe, is spot-on. A real post- 60s thing, though. And it continues

I unironically had a hip teacher that was going through a divorce that banged a HS student and was addicted to crack. Made me really appreciate the authoritarian, boundary conscious teachers that held us responsible for stupid decisions.

In 1967, I had a "groovy teacher." Art class, High School...among other things, she let us bring records to class but the only one that ever got played was the Doors first album...over and over. That was in the days when school record players had half pound tonearms with roofing nail needles. I don't know if she ever hit on anyone, though.

I'm stoked that you're bringing back kid's in the hall. Love this show when I was a young buck...and weirdly enough I was an all state linebacker, you know, total jock. Didn't go out on weekend until I finished my sets. I think these cats helped me to not blindly hate alternative lifestyle men, like I was "supposed" to. I'm being 100% honest here. Thank you for uploading these( I just subscribed) and thank you KITH for being so damn funny and helping me realize that sexual orientation doesn't define a person. He's still better than the crazy substitute teacher I had when I was 12 He believed the radiators on one side of the wall were actually radioactive and forced us all to move all the desks to the opposite wall. It was early august, they weren't even on. He also wore mittens and two woollen scarf indoors...

I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed, but there's always that one teacher that had no boundaries. I remember that one teacher that was always too friendly, much like Theo here, lol. Of course, this was back in the 90's, I don't think that a teacher like that would be employed by the school for long.

This is the first time I've seen this version of the skit. The one I remember was completely censored; They replaced 'bullshit' with 'crap', and Dave Foley wasen't seen rolling up his sleeve and asking for a lighter. I think that Scott was also wearing a completely sleevless shirt in the censored skit.

CBC had "bullcrap." There are lots of differences between HBO and CBC content. The blues guy is from Vermont on HBO and "The Ottawa-Carleton region" on CBC. Touch Belllini contest winner is from Tampa (I think) Florida on HBO but from...Ottawa again on CBC.

This is an age old problem, you'll find guys from older generations in these comments telling of teachers they had who were like this back in the 70s and 60s. The lesson to take is to always be wary of teachers who try really hard to be cool with the kids, sometimes they even have sinister motives.
