Sorry, accidentally sent before finishing message. I have returned my Keis G301 three finger gloves because the did not feel at all warm. I commute all year on my scoot, riding in - 3. - 4 and under. Good heated gloves are essential to me. I found your review very informative and unbiased. Thank you, Chris

@@christophercarvell4949 yes the keis don't feel warm... they just don't feel cold. But I didn't buy heated gloves to just jot feel cold 😀 give the extreme evos a go by gerbing. They are superb.

How did you try the Keis 701? I like the 701s, but you have put me off. I understand the gerbing controller is very bulky? Finally , have you tried the under jackets ?

I found the 701 to have similar heating properties to the 501, 502 and 602 - concentrated purely on the back of the hand with little to no heat elsewhere. Gerbing for the win in terms of heated gloves all day long. I've tried the Keis heated jacket, not the gerbing. It's OK. Comfortable, could be warmer - their extreme version now is 78w so that will be better. I use a powerlet rapidFIRe heated jacket (105w switchable to 60w). Can't recommend it enough.

Hi , I have the new gerbing xr extreme gloves . Very warm . However , in rain they become soaked . Do you have this issue ? Advice ?

Hi Nick. They are a half leather glove so bear in mind they will absorb the water but your hand should be dry from the waterproof liner. Was your hand wet or was the glove just thick and heavy from the rain, because that's what I would expect - dry hand, wet glove.

@@nickfifield1 I think you probably felt wet but wasn't wet. Strange feeling but what I would expect from the wet gloves.

How did you manage to try so many gloves ?

Bought a pair, didn't like it. Sent it back. Each one seemed to have a major reason for me not to get on with it. Some I've kept such as the 501, but that developed a faulty controller. 502 I've kept. For example... Keis G602 - scaphoid protector was so uncomfortable it gave me a bruised hand. Gerbing extreme urban - small was more like an XS. Believe it or not I've just sent back the XRL in this video because it doesn't get as hot as the others in the extreme range. They should be able to burn your hand on hot but these ones, although warm, don't get as hot as they should. I've now gone back to the extreme Evo which are stupidly hot, and a bit thinner.

@@philyoung1your evo extreme still heating and working good?

@@joaobrito1899@joaobrito1899 I found the extreme Evo to be warmer than the extreme XRL, though gerbing will tell you the inside and heating is the same. I can only use the high setting below 2°c otherwise I burn my hands. I have never felt cold with these gloves, and unlike Keis, I'm always WARM rather than just 'not cold'. I use my gloves every day for 6 months of the year. Gloves still good. Hope that helps.
