Question - Have you ever thought of making a large walk-in enclosure for them outside? I’m talking may*bee* something outdoors with windows and/or mesh and appropriate items for them - it could be like a backyard to them! You could also put their enclosure inside the big enclosure so it’d be easier for them to come out and go back in

Never really thought about it. Once they leave the colony they are typically out foraging for food and will fly for a mile or two. There are some pretty fancy hives out there but the bees are usually pretty happy with whatever situation they are in.

500 dollars for that thing?! There are much cheaper options out there that do just as well.

Yep there are cheaper options for sure but this thing uses batteries so no dragging cords around or lugging a big battery around. Also very fast. So if you need to work fast with little to no hassle then this is a game changer. If just a few colonies and speed doesn’t matter, and if convenience is not important, then there are many others on the market. I have used the Lorobbees basic unit for awhile now and it works great. Much more affordable. But this Instantvap is an amazing machine if efficiency matters. I am a fan.
