Julia, This kiln opening is my favorite !!! You are just so creative and make pottery so much fun. I love your sassy female figures...how wonderful. The little egg holder rabbits are so adorable. I also agree with you they would make great little vases to sit by a bed or in a powder room...how sweet! Love all of them. I would love to see a tutorial for one of your vases! Hi Pat, thankyou so much. You know she starredoff as something else, I went to the museum and saw a beautiful pot that I thought I want to make a replica see how close I can get. As I made her she was forming into something else and I saw her develop out of the clay and she gave me that idea, sometimes we shape the clay and sometimes it shapes us 😊

My vote is add a couple coats autumn purple n refire!! The cherry stein is super cute. I use the Amaco Sahara zf clear on my slip cast pieces n it works great. Oh thanks for the shout out!! I love curvy girl and sassy girl, I am going to carry on with them, how many do you think for a series? I love the stein too, the cherry's is such a fun thing to paint. I have 2 different dip pots for the chip and dip not sure which to do and whether to stick one in with glaze or have them removable so the bowl is versatile? Xx

I have had pinholing with my clear on brown clay a lot. Brown clay which i like to use because glaze colours get so warm on brown clay, but that is my own preference. But i noticed that transparant on brown pinholes when its layerd on 3 times. So now i layer 1 time and its good, shiny and okay, the little sandy bits in the clay are popping out so good. So yeah, clear can do strange on different type of clays i think. ( i use Botz glazes). Curvy girl is so pritty. Wonderful vase Julia! A lot of details in there. The second vase is so pritty as well. You do your best im sure, your head is bursting with new ideas. Cant wait to see your mozaik for your living room finished. I like tulips, cant expect anything else from a Dutch girl, can you..... The green, dot planter is GREAT. Show how you make your planter pot. Love Sheila ♡

So lovely to see another kiln opening pop up from you! Your spheres came out super round, have you made those in a mould? Nice concept! Big planter is nice, such a shame about the pinholes, great glaze combo, quite rustic. Love the jug! Totally agree with Nat about the arm supporting her back in the form. Very feminine. The handle shape is my favourite part. Oh saved the best till last! Sassy girl is fabbbb!!!! You can sense her energy and vibe totally!!! You definitely need to expand on this theme. Love her! Great to see you back sharing your craft, always a pleasure! Shame about the pinholes but they do seem to be contained predominately on the ivy glaze . Very odd. The mosaic wall sounds super interesting. Looking forwards to seeing that develop! Enjoy seeing the work you are currently waiting to glaze and working on. Great idea to keep teasing us with what you're working on. Look after yourself Xx

Hi lovely, thankyou so much for your kind words. The spheres I make by hand, a bit time consuming but worthwhile. I could maybe so a tutorial on them. You are totally right on the Ivy, I noticed that afterwards that both had ivy on so will try it in the community kiln and see if that works, if not ivy may be relegated to the no pile 😄 I am loving doing new forms again and giving us girls a boost by doing sassy feminine pieces. I shall be doing more as they are so fun to make, the one I've got in community bisque is quite a madam, love how you can take clay somewhere without detail but give it attitude and character. How are you doing with yours? I saw you doing your bags for the craft fair. I love your logo so much , I need to get me a logo but just haven't a clue 😄 xx
