Love your TA episodes - watch them a lot for enjoyment and encouragement. Did the NI in 2021 but health issues have delayed the SI leg which I have starting in February 2024. I love your style of presentation and the sheer enjoyment you seem to have. Keep it up Edna - you're star!

You have travelled so far Edna on this adventure. It has been amazing and inspiring to see where you have been and I am enjoying your videos so much. I guess you are getting close to the end now so continue to take care and be safe.

@johncarson6997 thank you so much for all your kindness and encouragement through this journey!! It makes making & sharing these videos so much more meaningful. I’m indeed close to the end of the videos from this Pacific Coast ride, but there are definitely more adventures to come!! Thank you again for all the support 😊

Hi Edna! Apologies for the randomness (!) of this fan / question message, but I stumbled across your videos while researching the PCH bike route and have so so enjoyed and appreciated following your journey! I've also recently downshifted to a part-time/remote role to make room for similar types of adventures 🙂can't tell you how much your attitude has been an inspiration! Hoping to do the full PCH at some point, but thinking about starting with the San Francisco to San Diego portion since might work OK with colder weather. If by any chance you see this and have a spare minute (TOTALLY understand if not!!) 2 quick questions: - What model of the cutthroat did you go with? I have an old Trek 520 that I'm hoping to upgrade! - How many days did it take you to get from San Fran to San Diego? I'm not hugely experienced (figure the only way to learn is to go 🙂) but did some ~80 mile days on the Empire Trail in NY...so may be a bit slower / less comfortable than you the pro! Thanks for reading and hope you've had many adventures since / have more to come!

Hi Frances! Oh my gosh thanks so much for your thoughtful message and please don't apologise! It's so, so heartwarming and affirming to hear all this - you are so kind to take the time to share such positive and kind words & feedback!!! On the Cutthroat model - I have to go find this info as I honestly don't remember! But I'll find my invoice and get back to you. And on the number of days - I ended up doing it in 23 riding days (plus my 4 day girls 'weekend' in Sonoma in the middle!!). I think I could have done it in 21 without compromising on enjoyment/comfort, but also could have spread it out a bit more and stopped at more sites along the way!!! Feel free to message me on instagram if you want and I'd be happy to chat further - I'm at @edna.nz. Either way I'll get back to you later when I find the info about my bike!!

You are the best@@ednanovak! I will definitely take you up on the instagram offer 🙂(have to admit I have to dust up the login for my lapsed account!). Seriously so nice of you to respond so quickly and thoughtfully. Please don't rush on the bike info!!! Budget wise, I may have to opt for the cheapest model (I think the 600) but we'll see! Thank you again and happy riding!

Hi again! Yes lol I also am so hesitant to use IG - but it's probably the easiest way to connect further without putting more personal contact info on this public youtube channel haha. I'll look for you & follow up more there! I think it's possible that my Cutthroat doesn't fall into one of the model categories because I bought the frameset (www.salsacycles.com/bikes/2020_cutthroat_frameset) and then worked with Benny from Benny's Bike Shop in Auckland on a custom build from there! I totally splurged though & did go for the 2X gear set which is just a personal preference. There are definitely good arguments for both 1x and 2x!
