The question where she’s addressed as “Emily” is at about the 21:13 mark for anyone wondering!

currently majoring in communication and, whether the journalists made such uninteresting questions because 1. that's all they could come up with 2. their bosses told them what to ask or 3. both of them, this pained me to watch

Honestly I don't get how there's not more breakdowns and rage moments on these film panels. I wouldn't be able to stand it if it was consistently as bad as this one. I don't even think something like that would harm your image either, in fact it'll probably help it but actors all seem to be a little robotic
@GuineaPigEveryday

You can see immediately what sort of a director he is with how relaxed and comfortable and casual the actors are around him, while Coppolla is great, his press conference was markedly stilted and awkward, he's a great visionary but infamously not an actors-director or something, Lanthimos clearly has his actors that he loves to work with, and who clearly love to work with him, its nice to see for a change. Not every director has to be a tortured visionary

It seems like there are different rules and ethics in journalism, but my disappointment and expertise on journalism grow when journalists don't think outside the box. They seem to only ask questions provided by their media stations and don't consider asking questions about other members of the movie team. It's as if they are excluding them as if they were part of the security team.
