He had good comedic timing and some of the videos where harmless stereotypes with something interesting, for sure at least some funny stuff there.

There are thousands of comedians who sell out shows that are not funny to 99% of people but are somehow still able to make a living. They will never be in the upper echelon of comedy but they just get out and grind so much that they just get to their position without being particularly funny. Bach was one of these guys who just went hard on the grind in the early days and took advantage of the money flocking to the "newest, hottest app" from brands at the time and seems like he didnt waste it all so he can keep doing his thing and banking on people supporting him for nostalgia reasons.

No he’s just corny now. He does too much and it’s simply not funny. It’s not cuz of social media or the new wave… he’s just simply not funny anymore

I have no idea what he's doing now, but I thought this video was more so talking about his popularity retrospectively... As in people look back at the videos from 2013-2016 and might see them as basic, old, corny jokes. People could say the same about Vaudeville gags (although a lot of those have extraordinary staying power). Those old Vines seem pretty basic, but they were definitely fresh at the time.

There's also an argument about King Bach that he "set the Black community back 100 years" through his low-brow stereotype antics... That honestly just might be but he definitely didn't start that fire.
