Bill Bruford is probably my biggest drumming influence and Discipline is my favourite KC album.
Robert Fripp insisted that Bill not use any hi-hats on this album so he chose to use Octobans for most of the 16th note rhythm duties instead.
This provided a lot of space in the frequency spectrum for the intricate, overlapping Guitar work and gave the album a very distinctive sound.
The Octobans I'm using are called Cannon Toms and they are made by Chaos Drums in Australia. rech.com.au/se...
