This is the best King of Tokyo How to play video on KZitem. It's clear, and the step by step turn walkthrough was excellent.👍

I agree with the previous comment, this is the best 'how to play' King of Tokyo video I have watched with a clear and concise explanation and a great walkthrough of the game. Thanks so much.

Knowing this is an intro game into the hobby or even just to play with children/family this was a great explanation. Clear and concise with a great example.

Excellent Review!!!!! We had a board game night yesterday and we could not make sense of some things in the rule book. There was conflicting/unclear info about when to enter tokyo. So we gave up as we were wasting too much of our evening. In just a few minutes though, you have made it all clear for us. Something the rule book could not do.

Game is simple, but fun, We like it. We played 3 times that evening, I lost all games and I was in the last place. Still, was fun, will play today again.

Watched 3 videos before yours, I think everyone of these, kind of missed something. Your video got all the parts I needed to know so yeah. Also played citadel. Great game. Have you tried it?

Great video pal. A couple of questions if anyone can help with: Can you buy a power card at the beginning or end of your turn? Can you use card as soon as purchased or on your next go.? Can you use multiple cards in one turn e.g. Discard and keep card? Thanks.

1. The end of your turn only. 2. They are activated as soon as you obtain them. 3. You can activate multiple cards in one turn.

Can anyone verify that the first player MUST enter Tokyo? I’ve seen it played differently, thanks!

I wrote the video using the 2016 edition of King of Tokyo. It seems that this precise rule is different from the original version. You can find on page 5 of the 2016 rulebook a note saying that the monster of the 1st player must enter Tokyo during the Enter Tokyo phase. Here's the pdf: www.iello.fr/sites/default/files/2016-10/KingOfTokyo_2016_EN_Rules.pdf
