Don’t know if you’ve done it but Spring kings, browns, and cohos Lake Ontario Point Breeze. Using body baits bandits work great. Lots of fun and not a ton of people do it.

You guys are aware that the preferred temp of the alewife is higher than what the chinooks like, right? The reason kings are so often caught out of temp is they're following the food, not because they've acclimated themselves to the great lakes. They still like the cold, but they gotta eat.

Alewife liking temps in the 60's is a different issue than what chip was talking about. These "newer" salmon have been spending significantly more time in warmer water and they have seemingly acclimated to it
