Tides and waves are 2 completely different things. The tides are high but the waves are near flat.

The tides are normal. If the ocean level rises anywhere it rises everywhere. The sand comes in every winter and goes out every summer. And at least 100 feet of coast has eroded from the Muir past Pescadero Ave area along Sunset, where I lived.... in c. 1960 to 62 at least 100 feet erorded at Pescadero. Land slides are not evidence of rising ocean levels.

The property owners on the boardwalk need to reimburse the city for protecting their property. It's not the cities responsibility to protect the property owners From mother nature.

Listen buddy, I just spent $20million on my La Jolla home, I’ll be dammed if the city isn’t going to protect me and you all need to pay for it because you visit my beach

@@vintageexcellence lol typical . if it is YOUR beach , then YOU pay for it , if you decided to pay 20 million for a home by the beach thats on you . why should anyone else be responsible for your choice of living location ?you bought it you take care of it big timer . whats another million ? nothing is more repulsive than people that move to the beach and think they own the coastline . your property ends at YOUR property line. better yet why dont you just sell your spot and move back to victorville clown .
