One thing I've noticed about Joe is that he will always stay in the artist's range, but he will never upstage them even when he can. He's always respectful of those on stage which is why so many people invite him on stage with them.

Very well said.. as a huge Joe fan I must agree.. Joe is always a nice humble respectful person... not acting anything else than he is.. and that is only one reason why he is the number one musician on Earth on my list.. I don't need to talk about his skills here.. we all can see and hear it.. I feel privileged to be able to hear an artist like Joe at his prime before I get too old to travel and hear live music .. two Meet & Greet tickets waiting for the future 😊

Serious respect for Joe for his self restraint here, his tone is so authentic, clear and low gain but you can tell around 3:45 that he's about to go full Eric Johnson but makes the call to be more conversational with Kingfish and follow his lead which brings out Ingram's chops like crazy! 10/10 jam, so much love for modern blues carrying on such a great tradition of improv and pretentiousness. @@bryanmannoia8410 dude, joe is okay, but the way they keep pushing him out there as if he's a headliner talent is laughable. He's the level of a very good cover band guitar player, and that's what he sounds like... Someone that you can walk into almost any bar or club in a city with a decent music scene and hear his equal. He doesn't have a unique style that's identifiable. Lack of feeling in his playing. He might be outplaying that other guy...it is obvious he's out of his league, he's making audible mistakes. He's not outplaying Christone in the least. Trying to cram 10lbs of shit into a 5lb bag doesn't make it better.

@@spellbound1407Lmao come on. Yeah Bonamassa can be corny and wears blazers with flames and dresses like Agent Smith, but the idea you can walk into any bar or club and see his equal is fucking laughable. He’s not the most original guy ever but he’s an absolute monster. I live in a city with a great music scene, and have lived in others, and I’m not constantly stumbling across dudes that can play like him. Also, what audible mistakes?
@spellbound1407

@@colinschmidt3475get your facts straight... I said a very good lead guitar player in a good cover band. Not a decent guitar player in a bad cover band.... I don't care what kind of music scene there is where you are or where you have been. Where I'm from the very good cover bands tour regionally and nationally. There are a good handful of tribute bands that are based here and they play around town regularly. What's laughable is everybody likes to talk as if they got some kind of big stick clout to shake around and their unvalidated opinion carries weight. Audible mistakes...I was referring to the unknown guy. Who cares how he dresses? My point was the comment I replied to said Kingfish was being outplayed.... I never said the man couldn't play, I said they are pushing him on us as if he is some kind of Jeff Beck or Eric Johnson.

@@spellbound1407 I guess your not really listen to what Kingfish is playing. When I saw him live, he doesn't riff in the traditional "pentatonic blues box" that a lot of guys do. @@paulwarren8936 I added that last part because you took a dig at me. Of course I don't know how you play. I'm sure you can play something. There's nothing wrong with their playing per se...What I was trying to get across is this song is not a shred fest. Joe is a great guitar player, kingfish is a great guitar player. They're up there together trading licks and cutting head. It's fun to watch but it takes away from the song and the integrity of the music. Kingfish normally sticks to the integrity of the music, he's shredding because Joe is pushing him. A more extreme example is when they brought zakk Wylde to the Jimi Hendrix tour. He's good but there are a thousand other guitar players that should have been selected for a Hendrix tribute before zakk Wylde
