17th listen.... Finally looked at the lyrics and what they mean (my interpretation is that they had a falling out because of Eiriks depression or anxiety, maybe erlend had a little bit of an ego?! I don't know... And I mean that in the stupidest way possible) I also felt when I listened to kommode that Eirik was definitely feeling left behind. And 12 years later for them to write a song that makes you cry because you don't even have to hear their lyrics to cry on any given sunday. Then you listen to the lyrics and you cry. Tears of joy boy. I'm giddy like a school girl..... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Honestly it's been a shite couple years. And I'll take what I can get and I can't believe I get this sorry I didn't mean to hijack your emotions.

Lyrics: One more time Let's say you give me one more time One last chance to speak again Let's start from what we left unsaid And here we go Brave enough to go climbing a wall so high that no sunlight is seen through winter Brave enough to go travelling around the world without money to eat or sleep for Seeing what you can do with your hands and feet or feel there is no question about it: Almost any thing you can imagine, almost any goal, you will get there I wish you had been more of a talker and not the kind that is just flapping his lips Not the kind that looks away But learns through his eyes when somеbody is watching Maybe you could've told me thеre was the world on those shoulders that needed lifting Maybe I could learn how to adapt, the weight is not easy, I know, but you never know I thought your shoes were good I thought they would take you to the end of any road I thought your back was strong I should have carried you to the top of the rocky trail (Carried you to the top of the rocky trail) I should have carried you to the top of the rocky trail How am I to know About your problems and your load? I am blind to what you show I am waiting to be told, I never ask How am I to know About your problems and your load? I am blind to what you show I am waiting to be told, I never ask --Lyrics by: GeniusLyrics

I hadn't heard of Kings of Convenience or heard any of their songs until this showed up in my recommendations. After listening to a lot of their music, I can honestly say that their music is *the* most beautiful and moving music I have ever heard. And I can only ask myself how I have gone 26 years of my life without hearing any of it before...

This song reminds me of how oblivious i am to my father's hardships. He passed away last year when i'm not around. Since then i learned that behind his composure lies this fragile man, lonely and sad. And i'm wondering why couldn't i be nicer and reach to him first.

Hi guys! I'm an American. I discovered you guys in 2010 and have been a fan since. I own all your albums ( physical albums!) and the songs are all timeless. The sound you two create always fills the air with a nice atmosphere. I recall the cool air on a beautiful sunrise and playing your music with my window open. The music just made that morning much more pleasant. I know I'm among many that have long awaited this new album and I can't wait to buy it. I do have a wish that I'm sure other Kings of Convenience fans would love too. I have watched so many concerts of yours such as the great one at Bataclan with Feist (2009) and much older ones. I have long wished there was a live album and a dvd/bluray compilation of your concerts. That would be fantastic!

In this music video, I think they tried to combine on some previous music videos, in order to invite us to "reminisce" together. Those soft colors give a sense of peace and those various colors give the impression of being full of love, just like the album title, "Peace or Love". One-shot music video reminds me of "Misread" and "Me in You", where at the end of the video you can see Glambek playing his guitar while lying down and Erlend dancing behind him. Lots of lights in the room, giving some Cayman Island vibes. Erlend dance as free as "I'd Rather Dance With You". Paintings in the video also reminds me of "Mrs. Cold", where ladies paint them. And of course, there is chess like in the "Riot On An Empty street" cover. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this, or can you feel it too? Thank you for everything. Welcome back, guys!

I second this. The intro suddenly reminds me of Misread, and the end scene of the video is indeed a combination of Misread and I'd rather dance. You're utterly right. KoC is simply being KoC.
