@@mr_wrongwayafter your last upload, (S16 vs S19) if King Song has any self respect, they will send you their wheels to test and inspect and ask you to make a private video for them (and pay you $5k-$10k for your expert advice and feedback) first before they release the wheel to the public. Then they should fix everything you tell them then ask you to do the same thing again (for another $$ day). THEN release the wheel to the public. It boggles my mind that they don’t do this. Nice work, Adam. Keep it up.

Kingsong still has their head inside their butt, but at least they are making a step towards redemption. Their fans keep them afloat even though they haven't made a relevant wheel in years now.

Kindly allow us to disagree here. Voltride team is riding different brand wheels and there are fans for every brand. As for Kingsong, there have been (and probably will be) some problems with new wheels, but as for the user, (and the dealer) Kingsong wheel designs are pretty good. They definitely contribute positively to the EUC landscape and innovation.

Let's say you need a 20 link chain that can hold 1000lb and instead you put eyelets at each corner and use 4 20 link chains 250lb capacity each. Now you have 80 links and 4 eyelets each which could individually cause a catastrophic failure. Is this accurate to express how they have multiplied expense and failure points?

I'm at the point where the higher voltage is only a huge battery drain when you can get more than enough torque for offroading and even fast riding with less. im not saying go back down, racing you need to push the limit. but it would be nice to have a controller that could reduce the voltage to get maximum range. but i imagine AI will be doing all that in these wheels soon. traction control etc. it would be nice to have a demon of a wheel at like 151(example) and then get 100 miles at like 84V with the switch of a button.

Yep, you got that right. According to what we have from the Kingsong factory, they originally intended to introduce 3 different voltage versions for the F22. 176V was the highest version. Later they decided to have the battery choices reduced to 2 different versions: 1. 176.4V, 1554Wh x 2 = 3108Wh 2. 155.4V, 1369Wh x 2 = 2738Wh As this is all pre-production info, please do not take it as final.

You've got that right. :) The preliminary design (Jan'24) included 3 !!! different voltage batteries for the wheel, 176V being the highest of them. Later they changed it to 2 battery options: - 176.4V, 1554Wh x 2 = 3108Wh - 155.4V, 1369Wh x 2 = 2738Wh Bear in mind, this is the pre-launch information, not confirmed by Kingsong yet.

Why do they build their new demo units with old tech? They should be testing the real build versus putting S19 electronics in there. Makes me wonder if that is why the eWheels demo S20 imploded - most of the S20 testing was done using S18 electronics.

KingSong will suffer on their pre sales for these as the s22 was a huge let down to a lot of euc riders… even with how comfortable it was, almost everyone agrees that it is severely underpowered even when compared to other 126 V wheels they just capped off the power too much… I hope they take their time with this one and work out the kinks before it’s released and they have to put out five batches to try to get it right… I remember when KingSong people spoke down on Begode and after the S22 they kinda had to eat their own words lol 😂

If we think about all euc manufacturers, all of them have sold bad product. We are the beta testers. The V12 and V13 had issues, but so did the Abrams, and Begode I would worry about even having in my house (fires etc). I trust my dealer to fix the wheel or make things right. But not all dealers are equal. Personally I'd only buy from eRides - or get a wheel thats been run for a while, like a 2nd hand Sherman.

@voltride_ee

May be that's not a problem. Manufacturers have a habit to provide original charger that is a bit slow to keep longer life expectancy. But express chargers as extras are available for most wheels. The key is to have the euc design to support fast charging.

Higher voltage itself shortens charging times. The manufacturers usually supply the "slow" (3-5A) chargers with the wheel to have better battery life expectancy. But the express chargers are getting widely available. The key is to have the EUC design to support fast charging.
