Hi, what's the purpose of having a temperature setting for the time the heating goes off? Should this be lower than the temperature when it comes on? Thanks

Bit late but if you hold the PROG and ^ button at same time until it takes you to date and time. To move between date and time press PROG button. Use + and - button to correct date or time. Use PROG again to return to default position.

This guide mentions turning off the hot water at certain times of the day and not running it 24/7 - I heard that doing this could cause legionella bacteria build up is this right or not?

How do I reset the unit? When I press the reset button it’s flashes with a number briefly before the screen turns blank. If I try to press any button while it flashes the whole unit switches off. Please help

Can you have the heating on and the hot water heating up at the same time? Or does the hot water take priority?

Thank you this is really useful and easy to follow. Regarding programming the hot water, I only need it to come on twice a day. How do I set it for four events? Do I just just set the on/off time on the last events for exactly the same time? Hope this makes sense.
@KingspanWaterEnergy

Hi Kanzen - The Danfoss programme requires you to set 6 events per day, if you only require 4 events the trick is to split an event in 2 and program them both to be exactly the same, this is actually quite easy using the copy function, please contact our hot water team by emailing hotwater@kingspan.com or call 0345 260 0258 if you require further assistance.

Hi Thanks for the video. However, when i press the button to toggle to the central heating setting, the lcd display only shows the temperature. There is no time and therefore, I cannot programme the central heating to come on, I have to do it manually. I saw in the manual that if i hold down the +/- buttons it will return to the time setting, however, it doesn't. Do you have any idea why it would be stuck on the temp setting? Thanks

Suppose I only want one ON/OFF period per day, how do I get rid of later timer settings. One guess would be simply to programme the temp so low it wouldn't come on anyway. Furthermore why do we set a temp for the OFF time? Any info available on the TP9 controller or is it too old? Thanks for video.
@kingspanwaterenergygmbh9744

Hi Michael, to meet current building regulations modern controllers don’t offer simple ‘ON/OFF’ controls like the traditional ones many of us are used to. For the period you are looking for it to be ‘ON’ you need to set the temperature to a setting you find comfortable - for example 20°C. All the other periods you need to set a lower temperature - for example 10°C. Your heating will still come on if the temperature falls below that temperature but in terms of energy efficiency it’s more efficient than letting the house become too cold and then have to heat it back up. Thank you for your message.

Even though we set the times we want for the water heater, the red light is still on when it should be off? What do we do?
@KingspanWaterEnergy
4 жыл бұрын
In order to comply with current building regulations, the controls we provide are modern programmable thermostat and not simple on/off controls. That means that they are designed to provide a specified temperature for a specific time. In order to do this it will come on earlier or later depending on the room temperature, in order to achieve the temperature you have set
