Kink Guitar Pedals The Stab Zone was used on every part of this track. From drums, guitar, bass, and even vocals. The Stab Zone is there. Its distinct style and expression allow for each part to breakthrough and find its own voice with a few twists of the knobs.
The sometimes dark heavy grittiness nature of the pedal along with the artwork depicting death, decay and murder is what gave me the inspiration to shoot the feature in a graveyard.
The video was shot in Ada, OK at Egypt Cemetary.
Though based on the Danelectro Fabtone, Kink Guitar Pedal's The Stab Zone has been drastically changed. The Stab Zone is a spectacular distortion toying on the line of fuzz. Both the low and high knobs have an immense range granting the ability to dial in screeching highs, or rolling lows. Alongside a boost to 120Hz and 3KHz, there is ample volume and gain to be found. One of the greatest highlights of this pedal is how responsive it is to the volume through the input. Dial the volume on your guitar back, and with the right settings, it can act as a clean boost. Roll the volume up, and you're back in a land of caustic distortion.
Features:
True Bypass
Asymmetrical Clipping
Volume, Low, High and Gain controls
Quiet operation, even at high gain settings
The circuit has a boost to 120Hz and 3KHz
Thanks again to Kink Guitar Pedals for allowing me the opportunity to share this.
