Please don't insert your phone that way! If you put the connector side in first it will over time lever and break connector. That's how my first one broke after only 4 months. Put the left side on first then slide the connector in.

The portability of the V1 isn't a feature, but a bug, because it's so wobbly and uses the phone itself for stability. Any mechanical stress will directly go to your USB port. Big no no and big design flaw

Honestly the thumb sticks in the v1 outshine every bad thing about it compared to the v2, the v2 with real analogue sticks and not some switch junk would be no question the best gaming controller

@@mac6417 I get your idea. Good sticks are important. However, anything that mechanically wears down the phone's connector is inherently flawed by design. Getting your USB socket replaced on your phone is very expensive a repair. Easily more than what the controller costs by itself. That's why I call it a big no no.

@@RussianWhales for me yea, i have fast internet and beefy pc and a note 9 with the kishi v1. I could stream any game and looks great and responsive. Plus it's much more comfortable and portable, when i took the steam deck in public i was embarrassed at how huge it was

@@viziobehringer3633 Man that's what I wanna do because the steam deck is way out of my budget, but even razer kishi is a bit costly for me(₹9.2k = $111) 😂 I've already setup the streaming related stuff and I was impressed, now I just need a controller

It can't fit the S24 Ultra with a case beyond one of those extra slim ones with no magsafe or kickstand. And you have to pull out all of the adapters to do so. Backbone CAN hold it with a slim kickstand case, so that's a big dealbreaker for me.

How loud are the buttons? Clicking buttons are not a feature in shared public spaces like a bus, train or plane where I want to use a device like this. Currently shopping around

Had the V1, and pretty disappointed at how fast it broke. Not even lasting one year. I’m contemplating between this and the backbone one.

It’s a mobile gaming controller. It works with phones and tablets, and you do not need an Xbox to use it. The controller connects directly to your device via USB-C or USB-A (depending on the version you have).
