Hey there great video. I was watching your previous video with the Watco Butcher Block Oil & Finish for the Butcher Block..can you tell me how it's holding up..is it staying shiny & rappelling water..is this something that your going to have to apply once a year or do you think it will last longer? We bought a house with the butcher block counter & are tired of constantly applying that bees wax! Thanks in advance 😀

Thank you for your comment. You do have to reapply the Watco once a year or so, we still have not done it yet and it's been holding up really well. You have to get all the beeswax off your counters first before applying the product though. It's supposed to be used on bare wood. Not sure if sanding it down would do the trick because the wax soaked into the wood grain. Maybe mineral spirits would work, I'm not sure. You could reach out to the Watco company to see what they recommend. Sorry I'm not more helpful. - Silke
