I remember listening to this LP my mum had bought back in 1984, if I am not mistaken. The cover was blood-red and gold and had stuck with me.Then following a party my mum had thrown, some bugger stole the album. I was 10 at the time. I recall that I was very moved by the melody and the mesmerising voice but I was entirely unaware at the time that it was a cover... I always admired Klaus. A legend of his era. To the bugger who stole my mum's LP: I hope you've cherished it as much as I have.
