I WORKED WITH MICHAEL SELDEN AT KNUS IN DALLAS 1978-1979 . WAS SADDENED TO HEAR THAT SELDEN DIED AT AGE 56.

Great post. Best quality I have heard of a Michael O'Shea aircheck. Nice guy too, that Michael O-Shea. And Mr Eberhart, you are one of our heroes. Thanks for your work. - from just another voice.

Cool. I remember listening to Michael O'Shea and KLIF when I lived there in the 70's. I used to know all the DJ's names. My sister had a compilation LP from KLIF that had all, or most, of the DJ's on the back cover. I was a real radio geek, lol. Remembered some of the names all these years. His is the only name I remember now off the cuff. I'd remember the others if I heard their names... Reading KLIF's history, I remember Gordon McLendon after seeing his name. Mostly from KNUS. I later was reading a book on Radio and KLIF was listed as one of the movers and shakers. :)

This is a great blast from the past. I'm a little puzzled as to why they kept that "old fashioned" jingle package & they played Top 40 music? Thanks for posting it.
