Great comparison I could definitely hear the differences on my system. Very helpful! I've got the RP8000F II and I've heard the knock on them is that the midrange is better in the Klipsch models up the line. I do really like them, though, with a 20 degree toe in they have a seamless sound stage.

Klipsch has made some interesting choices with their market segmentation and naming over the years. Back in the early 2010s their "reference" line (RB-61 II, 81 II, etc...) had titanium tweeters and cerametallic woofers. Those are features only found in the Reference Premier line now. The regular "reference" line now has aluminum tweeters and IMG woofers. I'd be curious to see how the RF-7 III's stack up against some of the older big Klipsch towers, such as the KLFs. The KLFs are legendary. Even the "baby" KLF-10 is on par with the RF-7 III on paper. The KLF-30 should outclass it. I love Klipsch, but it's hard to justify paying $4000+ USD for a pair of RF-7 IIIs when speakers like the Tekton Pendragon exist for $2500 or less.

Nice comparison video👍 Over the last 5 years I’ve had the RP-6000 then upgrade to the RP-8000.Just that upgrade made a huge difference in my room and gave me a wider and fuller sound. My room is 8mx5m. Last year I was fortunate to buy a pair of demo RF-7ii .Oh my goodness what a difference they made in my room for both stereo listening and home theater. My dream speakers are still the B&W 802 D4 and I often wonder if it will be an upgrade or just a lateral move.A friend of mine has a pair and when listening to his I can’t really hear a major difference on my favorite songs.

At 6:34, you claim if Klipsch will release a IV iteration of the RF-7s & you say they won't but I believe it has been confirmed by a Klipsch insider that they will in fact be releasing Klipsch RF-7 IV & RC-64 IV updated models next year in 2025, could be possibly announced later this year but it is definitely confirmed to be coming, you have to remember the top end Flagship Reference models have a longer generational gap than the RP series do which is typically every 3-4 years but the RF-7s typically have a 7-9 year gap, the RF-7 I released in 2001, RF-7 II in 2010 & RF-7 III in 2017, also the RF-7 IIIs as well as the RC-64 III have a 1.75" Titanium Compression Driver not 1.25" ;)
