Wow...the whole "never grow up, always stay a kid at heart" thing hits me hard. I grew up with this show, and I'm now 18. Being a part of the KND was one of my childhood dreams, and it's been long since I realized it couldn't happen, and this remains one of my favorite shows ever. I do still consider myself a kid at heart, I try to keep the fun, happy lifestyle I had when I was a kid, and I've recently rediscovered a lot of things like movies, games and shows, like this one, that I find I still enjoy, even more so than when I was a kid. All this time, I thought the premise of this show was that adults were evil in terms of how we as kids felt limited by their rules and restrictions, when, all along, it was really about staying a kid at heart even when you're an adult. Here's to never growing up!

I loved that this series had continuity, and a real, definitive ENDING. How many cartoon shows really have endings anymore, without cliffhangers? I can't imagine what some people's reaction was when Abby/Numbuh 5 put the glasses on, but mine was somewhere between dropped jaw and "OH SNAP!"

I look back at this show now and realize how far gone I have gotten, back when I was younger the world was so simple, I wanted to be a knd operative, hell it was practically a dream I had. watching this made me realize how much I've lost that sense of wonder as a kid, as the years go on that kid in me will grow smaller and I'll have to be more grown up. another thing I realized though, was that you could be the most mature, grown up, person in the world, but that kid in you will never truly die, sometimes it finds its way out on occasion or maybe every so often but that kid in you never truly dies.

This is how you end a show. I get so disappointed at some show endings like Danny Phantom or Phineas and Ferb, but holy dodongos did this deliver. They did their best to incorporate everything that KND had into one episode. They still missed a a good chunk, but again, they clearly did their best. I cried ALL the tears when this ending came around. Prior, I didn't think KND was a show that could make me cry but holy dodongos was I wrong. Afterwards, I recorded the episode and watched it over and over again. So much good feels!

Chris Smalls The Phineas and Ferb finale, while grand, strayed away from the core of the show and instead sent them on a life threatening adventure. While they've been on grand adventures before, that wasn't what the show was about. It was about making the most of everyday, which while there was some undertone of that with Candace and Doofensmirtz, wasn't the focus of the finale. Lots of shows go out with a bang, it doesn't mean they're doing it right. Honestly, I think Summer Belongs to You would've made a much better series finale. It incorporated almost everything that the show had to offer at the time and still stuck to the show's message of making the most out of ever day while giving the kids a bigger adventure than they normally pursued. If you compare it to the KND finale, the KND are still fighting adults, are still doing missions and the episode still puts the message of "being a kid at heart" on the forefront. This isn't even the biggest mission they've ever been on but it still gets the job done of being signficant. In a series finale, bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. I think a show should strive to be big in its finale, but most of all, it should strive to capture everything the show stood for in it's final moments. Phineas and Ferb didn't do that.

In the 'world' of KND, we are assuming that the kids have made up this in their neighbourhood, so the KND isn't a real thing it's a game, like make believe. So in real-life Nigel moved back to England, meaning he left the KND, as it was a game in their neighbourhood that they made to believe that it stretched all around the work, when it didn't really. If that makes sense

I watched this quite a lot in my childhood. It was one of my favorite shows, it was a clever exaggeration of things kids would do or adventures they'd want to go on during childhood, it's what I wish my life was like. The show itself was enough for me, though, I could easily relate to what the kids thought of teenagers and grown-ups. I'm not 18 myself, and my opinion on the show hasn't really changed, it's one of my favorite cartoons ever. The finale had a big emotional effect on me, after watching all of the older episodes that led up to it. It was a great way to end an amazing show.

KND was probably one of the best things that ever premiered on Cartoon Network. -Anyone could enjoy it (I watched Season 1 with my Dad) -Operation ZERO was one of the best movies on TV. -It was one of the few cartoons on CNN to have a legit and well executed ending. Actually one of the few shows in general to end on a high-note.

Ha, this makes me realize just how long this show ran. I remember when the pilot aired with that whole voting thing... I remember sitting on the floor in front of the television, crossing my fingers because I really, really liked how KND went. The only time my vote actually made a difference to me. A grand finale to a grand show.

Is number 1 (Nigel) turning into a VILLAIN!!! I mean, when I watch GKND preview, it looks like to me he's going to kill off a lot of adults on Earth. The blonde boy (forgot his name) was trying to stop him from erasing them and in the end Number 5 (Abby) said "Nigel, what have you done?"

Wasn''t the blonde number 374?

After the end of KND and Ed, Edd n Eddy. Was the end of the era, Cartoon Cartoons (probably one of the best eras) of CN: Courage the Cowardly Dog, Powerpuff Girls, Mike Lug and Og, Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, etc. And this was the perfect ending, with perfect message. We have to grow up, but we can still be kids at heart, we can be 100 years old, but we can still be a kid.
