Hey nice video :) To improve the combat effectiveness, disable g-safe and deactivate gravity assist in settings - > movement (needs a button to bind for both). Also bind a button for coupled/decoupled and use it and do for limiter as well. Coupled limits velocity, decoupled limits acceleration but never coupled + limiter, it limits the inputs and makes you more predictable, even for NPC's. Trichording does not work like before, so no more upstrafe power but, you can use laterals more and still circle strafe which is still the best maneuver for evading most of the shots. Also, if you can, buy FL-33 laser cannons or Omnisky IX, for more alpha damage, Panthers are peashooters. Knife fighting is the common expression for close positional combat but, the distance of engagement is under 300m, you need to be much more close, this way you will not miss any shots even if you use the slowest Mx cannons because you will have a large hitbox as target. Cheers :)

I need to get back to using all of those modes. I let those skills lapse after primarily being a gunship pilot and focusing on FPS gameplay for a bunch of alphas. Good tips. We’re mostly running the Redeemer as a duo, but getting practice in fighters is always good.

I really don't like the automatic zoom-in feature during fighting. I always turn it off because I like to see the info on my mfd-s. I almost bought an eyetracker for this game for this reason, luckily I didn't. The falling Cutty looked cool though. I'm looking forward for the baby Ares they want to make as the crusader starter ship.

I’ll need to turn off that zoom. It’s weird with track ir on. I’m looking forward to soft death scenarios like that where we can get the ship flying just enough to avoid crashing or have a controlled crash that we can recover from.
