Meet the Knight of Wands. He is not only the fire element, the Knights all represent the suit of fire, making him fire of fire. He's hot!
Knight of Wands symbolizes the urge for freedom, exploration, and adventure.
He is the traveler of the tarot.
Over his shiny suit of armor, this knight wears a bright yellow tunic covered in salamanders. Salamanders represent immortality, endurance, and transformation. This association gives us an idea of the energy and passion within this card.
Knight of Wands has a deep understanding, rapport and connection with his horse - and they share many of the same needs. Both are restless and and both are ready to explode into action.
The horse is stamina, strength, and vitality. He is also fearless and bold, just like the knight. The knight holds the reins of the horse in his left hand which references his more analytical and methodical side, while he holds the wand in his right hand speaking to his creative and artistic side - wanted to grow and expand.
