Great school, best experience ever. The instructors are top notch. They really help you to do your best and as long as you listen and follow the recipe, you will pass. This is Jodi from July 5, class...

I just got back home after getting my CDL at Knight CDL Academy. Thank you so much for this and your other videos. They were constantly in rotation for me and REALLY helped me with my skills and my testing. The pre-trip video was also indispensable. My whole class was watching it non-stop!

RPA and Survival we are so proud of your accomplishments! As you know the key word to the school is Listen. If you listen to your instructors you can do it! Practicing and studying the pre trip is so very important to be successful in this course! WELCOME TO KNIGHT TRANSPORTATION.

Thanks Marie Harrop and anyone who helped you to make this nice production, Excellent video, very good reference points, interesting drone shots, side views, and more important how the trailer bend or straight lines look on flat and convex mirrors.

So, the only problem with these videos is that they are specific to this practice area. You talk about lining wheels and other parts up to seams in the concrete. That's not practical to every situation. If you're going to make an instructional video you need to explain what a driver would actually be looking at. Not cut lines on a concrete pad where you practice.

The simple answer here is to use what’s available. That is, concrete or asphalt seams, tire marks left from previous trucks, and most of all, use your imagination to stretch the yellow lines beyond their endpoints. If that doesn’t work, try dropping a glove or bean bag to help guide you in. The biggest hurdle you will face is your ego and trying to impress others. Good luck.

Lionel Richie Sings Really Sad Lirys stand for LEFT, RIGHT, STRAIGHT, RIGHT, STRAIGHT, LEFT. First the steer to the LEFT until you see a pizza slice in the landing gear (45°), then to the RIGHT until you see the pizza slice, then to put STRAIGHT the truck and the trailer, then the steer to the RIGHT (45°), again STRAIGHT to align the truck and the trailer, RIGHT the steer and see the pizza slice, STRAIGHT the truck and the trailer and finally LEFT the steer. It's a tip in order to remember the secuence of the steer and the MOMENT to change its direction and when to align the truck and the trailer.
