Klika is an association of volunteers in Kraków, Poland, that aids people with physical and intellectual disabilities through classes and workshops. After the war in Ukraine broke out, Klika partnered with the Knights of Columbus to aid refugees who needed help with transportation and accessing life-saving resources. “This is what it means to be pro-life, to take care of every person,” said Szymon Czyszek, the Order’s director for international growth in Europe. “As Knights of Columbus, we are men who want to defend life at every stage.”
