Thank you for your wonderful videos and guidance. I’ve just joined your channel and am a new knitter (in my 60s!) and enjoying it immensely. I live in Australia, so, a big G’day! And thanks for sharing.

This was lovely-thank you! So much insight articulated so helpfully. My knitting has taken a bit of a backseat to my cross stitch lately, but this applies beautifully to both, I think. I was working on an emotional piece just today, in which I wasn’t sure of the colour works and having uncertain feelings about whether it “worked” or not. I started it last week to celebrate our puppers, one who had passed years ago, and the other whom unexpectedly passed this morning. This video was perfect to help me fully let go, and see that the colours aren’t even what’s really important. I’ll love the piece regardless. And yes, I have certainly had those feelings about knitting before, and will remember this-it will give me the courage I sometimes lack, to just go for it.

How wonderful to place memories in your creativity in the way. Such a great way to put it, ‘the colours aren’t even what’s really important’ So true. You and everyone who shares those memories will see the beauty. Happy stitching! 🧵

This was just what I needed to hear. I have been dealing with my chronic illness and I leaned into my knitting today. I am planning to challenge myself with colorwork to bring a positive challenge to my help me grow.

Hi Stephanie, I'm so glad this video was what you were looking for. I've found knitting and creativity to be so supportive and relaxing for the chronic illnesses too. We'll be starting colourwork in the knit-along in September, if you'd like to join us for that you'd be most welcome. Did you see the live video with more information? Happy knitting 🧶
