Hi Lovely Lady .... just watched your tutorial for your jumper. You don't need me to tell you that it is stunning .... I love the design detail that you have incorporated into the final sweater. This is exactly the kind of jumper that I would spend a lot of money buying ... and still think I came away with a bargain. I love the bohemian feel of it, the jumper looks very easy to wear. I love knitting and crochet (though I haven't done that for a while) and have already ordered a Sentro 48 needle machine. I AM ABSOLUTELY making this jumper for myself. So I shall post you a photo when I have finished. Wishing you a very happy new year - Sally from the UK ... sorry rude! I didn't say a HUGE thank you!

Hi Sally, thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment :) This one came out really light and easy to wear, all my friends like it... plus using this machines its a big time saver other than making it all by hand. I finished this one in one day, and I'm really glad that other people can make it too :) Happy New Year from Australia!

would I be able to make this sweater with a 40 needle knitting machine? I got one for my birthday and I really really want to make a sweater on it!
@Creativeyarn
8 ай бұрын
Hi if you're a XS or S you would be able to , if not just use this same pattern but make 2 panels for each side and seam them with mattress stitch. The tube size of the 40 is perfect for sleeves. Check my other videos I have tutorials for 2 panels each side

Hello. I purchased the pattern for this sweater. Can you tell me the dimensions of the crochet squares
@Creativeyarn

Sure, they are 11 cm or 4' square, I´ll fix that and add the measurements ☺

Can you please help me with the scalloped edge on the bottom of the granny squares. The pattern says. Start with SLST CH3 (DC CH DC) in next st, sk1 repeat around. Is there only 1 CH between the DC and what does sk1 mean. There are chains along the edge along double crochets. Thanks for any help
@Creativeyarn
7 ай бұрын
Sure sk1 means skip 1 stitch and if it only says CH its only one as well, hope this helps
@PVB95

Since the edge of the granny squares has 3 double crochets and 2 chains do you consider the chains as two stitches?
@Creativeyarn
7 ай бұрын
The edge was worked only on the CH st. So you will make DC2 CH DC2 in CH and skip the DC underneath, I will correct this in the pattern. Thank you 😉
@PVB95

@@Creativeyarn The pattern does not indicate any of these instructions. It does not indicate 2 DC. I quoted in my first message what the pattern said and you never corrected it. I am very disappointed in this purchase, since I will now have to rip out my 3 rows of crochet I did completely wrong.
@Creativeyarn

Hi I'm really sorry about that I might have missed when I read it but when I looked closely I saw there was 2 stitches instead of one, and I'm going to correct it in the pattern. You can also leave it that way, the edges are just a finishing row so the bottom of your sweater will look better.

What brand and type of yarn was this? I know you said wool, and it seems that you linked Ferris wheel, but Ferris wheel is 100% acrylic, I’m a little confused!
@Creativeyarn

I bought this yarn in Australia and the name is Sierra from Patons, it does have 20% of wool 8ply, but because I always look for a similar weight and color in the USA I said Ferris weel 😉

I'm crying 😭 I finished 5 Rowe's on each arm and somehow have 51 shells per row on one sleeve and 76 on the other. Of course the 76 arm looks so much better. Idk how I even did that. I spent 12 hours on 5 rows of 76 yesterday and now I'm going to have to take the first one apart and start all over. Do you know a way that I can cheat and add some in without having to redo all of it ♥

Could you please give more details on adding the ( 2 ) side panels for a large sweater. I assume there would be about 22 needles each ; but joining them on the sides before assembling shoulders and before adding the sleeve? Do you think each shoulder would be 18 stitches instead of the 9 you did. I am excited to make this but not sure I understand the adding side panels. beautiful sweater. Very creative.
@Creativeyarn
Жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia thank you I'm going to post soon a panel sewing that's almost invisible that way you can join panels on both sides to make it wider. Definitely sew them together before all the rest. Use a sweater you have as a size sample, make one panel and put on top of it to see how many more inches you need. Then count how many stitches you need for that amount. Measure on your shoulders as well to see the number of DC there and make sure you leave enough space for the head. Hope that helps ☺️
