Hi Anita, Thank you so much for sharing! ❤ I had to look up what a koffieboontje motif looks like (it means coffee beans in English, if the translation was correct) - and it is so lovely! I would love to make a sock with such a motif in the future! And the Tolsta Tee looks absolutely beautiful as well (and comes in so many different options). It went straight into my favorites. 😊

Your avocado-dyed yarn is beautiful! I am ready to dye a sweater's quantity of yarn with avocado pits. I would love to know what kind of alum you use as a mordant - potassium alum or the other kind of alum that doesn't require heat.

Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 Since I wanted my colorway to be a dusty shade of pink, I decided not to mordant the yarn beforehand. Since avocado is rich in tannins, this is an option you have when dyeing with avocados. If you mordant the yarn, you will create shades of apricot/peach. You can see the difference in this blog post: www.rosemaryandpinesfiberarts.de/natural-dyeing-with-avocado-pits-vs-skins/ If you do decide to mordant beforehand, you can use either alum or aluminium triformate, both options are possible.

You slipped the stitches purlwise, not knitwise, but that was probably a 'slip of the tongue' :-)
