I honestly still think Rob is just trolling most of the time. His reactions to certain characters in their anime reactions just make me have to believe he does it because he wants to be the one getting the hate type attention.

29:16 First rule of storytelling - in total, not just in detective fiction - nothing is EVER mentioned unless it's going to come back later.
@JuliusBriggs
3 ай бұрын
well that certainly sounds like a sure fire way of restricting yourself creatively breaking this "rule" can be a key component to making a more unique, complex or subversive piece of literature but for most conventional projects, one should definitely stick to it
@morgan1076

They’re talking abt Chekhov’s Gun. The concept that if a gun is placed on stage then that gun should be used by the end of the show. It’s a very important rule in fiction that prevents plot holes and unsatisfactory endings. “Breaking” that rule is not a key component in complex literature.

It’s kind of funny since Rob kind of understood what the movie was going for and was just not explaining it clearly. It just became awkward because he took up so much of the convo since he was still trying to explain it better (or trying to process his thoughts) and ended up talking over the others too much. It’s still refreshing to see how people interpret the movie differently tho just hope the comments don’t discourage y’all to say your ACTUAL thoughts about a movie.

As much as I loved this movie, I didn't like that it sorta became obvious who's the killer about halfway through. But Ransom, even for being a self-righteous, privileged, asshole, he was a pretty good killer imo. But I liked Glass Onion more because it had a better mystery.
