Make sure you run across Cold Chisel then. Barnesy never sang better than he did in those years and Swingshift remains one of the greatest live albums I've ever heard.

Check the song Ocean Deep from the same concert. It’s a memorial concert and the song was written to express his feelings as the cancer was taking him at 25 years of age. RIP Andrew Durant

I honestly believe that Jimmy Barnes is the best male vocalist in the world . And I live in the States. This song is so emotional for me and always has been but now I have reasons for listening to this song and it makes me feel so much better . Every time I listen to this song it gets better. Best version of this song I've ever heard or seen.

This is from a memorial concert for Andrew Durant. Check out the song OCEAN DEEP. He wrote that to express how he felt as the cancer was taking him. I think he was 25 years old when he passed away

Renee absolutely nails the high harmonies. I mean, really nails them. Pity we don't see that much of her during the gig... I never really got into her, but I can see now how powerful and melodic her voice was. A total class act - by all.

Born in the ‘80s I remember listening to this song riding around in the back seat of Mum and dads Holden. Still to this day one of the best versions of this song ever recorded. Cold chisel lives on in my heart for ever🇦🇺

i really admire the work jimmy barnes does with the mentally ill as i have a mental illness myself, i think its great how he inspires them to sing and use their voice, a lot of musicians are like that they absolutley love people who have mental illnesses and love to see them inspired by music, wonderfull bloke

I guess the genius behind the 'front sound' was the guitar and piano solo - cold chisel only worked because of the combination, so I guess the lead singer was happy to let the light also shine on the folk who made it possible for him to shine.. it was a group effort and a group result.
