Thank you for watching and commenting!! When I was 18 I worked at a Kragen auto parts. People would bring back their alternators. Saying. This is the wrong alternator the plugs are wrong. I’d say….. ooh hold on sir I’ll be right back. I’d go in the back. Re-clock it. Give it back to him. Here you go sir. lol.

Easy way to make a fan shroud brackets is use garage door angle that has holes in it. Cut eight to the size you need, bolt two to each other. When you bolt two pieces together it will look kind of like a S. Then bolt that to rad mount bolt. Then you will have a flat with a hole to bolt fan shroud to.

That would work. I honestly think this radiator is way too small. So I’m pretty sure I’ll be replacing this one. But we will see.

The tedious little stuff. Not looking forward to doing all this same little stuff on my car over the next couple weeks. Oh and good call to ditch the OE harness, 100% agree, not worth the headache when they get that crusty.

Hey Steve the car is really coming along I know nothing about wiring I'm looking for a roller right now I'm going to be patient and not just jump into something that's going be more work then I need to deal with there was a decent 65 nova ss on fb market place yesterday but no title I could get around that my brother lives in Alabama where the car is from so I could rejester it his name and get plates and insurance I really just want it to be a race car but would still like to street race it and if you get busted here in Louisiana with no title or insurance they will take the car. My engine guy just bought back his vaga panel wagon he built back in thelate 70s it is a record holding car he went a 9.30 with a 283 in I think 1983 with that car he would leave AR 10.500 rims with a 5 speed

Don’t be too scared of the wiring. It’s actually pretty easy if you take your time. I love a 65 SS!!! That’s what I drove in high school!! I’ve had tooooooo many horror stories about cars with no title. Make the guy get it for you!! Or pay him parts car price for it!! If he tells you it’s easy….. say fine then. Why don’t you go get it then!?!?! I did plenty of street racing growing up. Back then the cops would say. Alright you guys that’s enough. Break it up. Now…. The laws are pretty strict if they catch you!! Be careful out there!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!

Nice progress Tack. The Crybabys are lookin good. Are you going short water pump due to clearance? I have locked out timing on my sbc and when i put a timing light on it, the timing mark moves around instead of staying put on 38 degrees, do you think its cam walk? its a hyd flat tappet cam or do you think it may be a loose double roller timing chain ? Thanks for the kool how-to tips bruh, Hey Ms Sarah

lol!! Thank you!! No it’s a long water pump. It’s close to the electric fan. But I can still get a belt on and off. Timing bouncing around could be a couple things. The advancement plate inside is moving. Check to see if it’s tight. It could be the distributor gear. If there is some play there. It could be the chain. Unless you have a cam button even a double roller chain can allow the cam to walk. That’s probably the most common. It could also be your timing light. If you have an msd box. It can cause the timing light to bounce around. Try a different light. Hope that helps!! Thanks for watching and commenting!! Sarah says hi!! Hopefully she will be in one of the next videos.

@@tackettshoh I appreciate your input Tack, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find the issue, I’ll let you know what I find. When I lived in Scottsdale, I used to do test hits in my 17 Z06 off Dynamite 🧨 Road, I sure miss zona, good place to live.
