Is it possible to user Raspberry PI as a KNX gateway / server with a KNX IP interface instead of an USB one?

Yes that should be a pretty simple change. Take a look at the blog post mentioned in the video. by michls... michlstechblog.info/blog/raspberry-pi-eibknx-ip-gateway-or-router-with-the-pi/

Hi, instead of Node, can we use python?
@Alderleyai

Hi Floare, Node is Javascript, with a syntax very similar to Python. However it totally whoops pythons ass when it comes to asynchronous programming. Trying to do this in Python is a nightmare. and in this case, we need something that is very easy and stable when it comes to async events.

@@Alderleyai Thanks a lot for your quick reply. Thing is, I am in the middle of a beginner python course and I quite like the language so far. However my main scope of learning a programming language is to control/monitor system devices (mainly KNX but not limited to) so if python is not adequate to my scope I will switch to something else. I have no experience with programming, this is new to me and I started with python on a friend's advice. He recommended either python or Lua but python has a much bigger community and support. Could you please indicate some resources where I can learn Nodejs, at least I could compare the two?
