Lovely video. Can one fish north pier? Just over a year ago I went down to fish there with my grandson and was turned away by a security guard. We then went to the yacht club and tried to fish there. It was spring tide and the rubbish coming down was unbelievable. Had to give up. Do you need a permit to fish there? If so where do you get one? From Pietermaritzburg

Are there any special licenses or forms of paper work needed to get into the pier ? I saw something about having to have some sort of card or paper work to get in?

Just a question you mentioned you hand was not touching the gills. Why can’t you touch the fish gills?

Damages the gills which decrease survival rate if release

Why you catch fish and make them suffer and throw it back,that stupid
@brucealmighty6442

The fish doesn't suffer. At least they are returned alive to support future growth. This is the correct way to enjoy fishing.
