I never really knew who Kobe Bryant was. I can see how smart he was and how hard he worked. When he talks he lays out the blueprint of success. Such a special person. He understands how to win. He was one of the few great players who is an amazing teacher. This is so very sad!

One of the things that Kobe said that I forgot about was that he had to come off the bench his first 2 years in the league. That makes his journey and his career all the more special. Also, the accountability he had for himself in the fact that he saw he wasn't playing and he knew he had to get better.

Notice that Nick Saban was taking notes when Kobe was talking less than a minute in. Not only is Kobe that dude, but Nick Saban never misses a chance to learn and get better at his craft. He's evolved so much from a run the ball and depend on my defense coach.
