You can’t be sure we’d ever have seen this form of Jimmy if D rose never got hurt. Jimmy ain’t play, not until the team was gutted and without a leader. D roses injury was the tragic catalyst for the Jimmy B we see now. Without that who know the timeline and trajectory his career would have had. His time in Chicago may have been short lived and potentially traded for a vet/ more established piece.

There was a story by D Wade talking about how Kobe was practicing a specific shot before a game, but they were hitting Kobe SO hard (think it was a fadeaway shot) that even D Wade said they wouldn't do that in a real game.. Then the real game came around, everyone and their mother knew Kobe wanted to go to that specific spot and the Heat were defending it as best as they could, Kobe still knocked the shots down.. I think he said Kobe went 34 points that game too

Offensive no, but Kobe always made it up with his defense or playmaking, if not both For example, in game 7 of the 2010 finals, Kobe led everyone in scoring still even when shooting bad. He had 12 points in the 4th, along with the game winning assist (passed to Ron artest), Kobe was second in rebounds with 15 and led his team in assists. This is arguably Kobe worst game 7, yet he still overall played great. Game 7 is never pretty, which is why you need to impact the game in other areas
