Thanks Ray! Great video and thanks for the kind words. My current grip moulding process is now using 60A and a surface finish with slightly more grip, always things to improve 🙂

Most welcome, you make a great wheel, updated w/ my Suzuki QR and now it is staying here. I think the 60A w/ a tackier feel will be much better. Now onto the AMR wheel build and review. I got high hopes now. 😁

Great video bro. I recently upgraded to the Asetek Invicta wheelbase. I recently started to dabble into the DYI wheels and discovered your YT channel. Glad I did! I am going to watch all of your past videos. Thank you for sharing all this information. Much appreciated!

Thanks mate. I appreciate the kind words. DIY is addicting, I shall be making another wheel here soon now. Just ordered and ready to torture myself. Actually they are quite easy to build, just have to be patient and have fun. If you ever need help, hit me up on discord or here.

They just released an Aston Martin GT3 wheel that looks absolutely stunning. I'm sure you'll end up building that too lol

Looks great, I do wish there was an option to add clutches. As a first wheel from Kodai they've done a great job though.

I do think I would have went with clutch paddles, but overall, it is such an awesome wheel.

It definitely seems intimidating, but I will say, it is really not that hard once you start, it is just a matter of taking your time.

You mentoned the pokornyi wheels having simhub devices profiles in the future Where did you hear this? I've got an LMP pro I built ages ago and it would be cool to be able to simplify the setup a bit
@grayzedynamics

I heard this from Balazs himself. Not sure when it will launch, or which wheels it will support, but that is the plan. It may only support certain wheels or their newer products, but I think it is really the only GAP they have that needs to be fixed.

@@grayzedynamics Oh cool I do hope they go back to the LMP pro Would make sense for anything with a combination of screen and LEDs I'll be honest until watching your video it's not something I'd thought about much. But it's also come at a time I'm working on a new DDU design for my partner so I may put together a simhub device profile for it now.

It would make a ton of sense. I despise having a bunch of arduino's I need to move around to get to work. As you get more devices, it just makes things a headache. It is the only blemish in the armor of PE.

can you please tell me what usb connection you are using instead of the GX-12 because the GX-12 looses connectiong whenever I go for a turn and I would love to replace it for something rigid on my HYP-R, thanks!

How does it compare to the HYP-R?
@grayzedynamics

They are both very similar in build quality excluding the aluminum enclosure and shifters. Very solid and great quality. I prefer the size and grips of the Kodai over the PE. The feel of the grips are better on the PE as they are a bit softer and more tacky but it's only slightly better. You would be happy with either. You do get the touchscreen on the Kodai, PE not because of the glass. Either way you go, both are good.
