She is going to the painter tomorrow and collecting one that has been done. I haven't shown that one on the channel yet, but it's a surprise build that will pop up over the next few weeks 👍

Foe me to take it to the bike shop it cost me around $30.00 that's only about 15.50 in your money. But it all adds up.

@Willdlans it sure does, but a fairly decent wheel true is a one of purchase a bit of practice and it pays for itself eventually 😉

Hey next time the bosses are usually silver brazed, its easier to get out with a torch Mapp gas is fine
@BikeShedBoy

Hi, I thought that to begin with, but the original ones had no signs of being brazed 👍

I know exactly what you mean, mate. I tell the wife that she has thousands of books, so my 10+ bikes are a collection I am passionate about. I don't need them, but I want them. Plus, I see it has a semi healthy hobby 😉

What was the reasoning of Joe Murray in designing that P2 straight blade fork? Isnt the curved design more optimal for a rigid due to more flex?
@BikeShedBoy
3 ай бұрын
I don't know about the reason behind the fork. This was the original one that came with the frame. I think once the bike is complete, it will look epic with the parts that it will be built with. Hooe, you stick around to see her complete mate 👍

I had a Kona just like yours. Seatpost was frozen and after hours of sawing gave frame away out of frustration and parted the rest out on eBay.

Stuck seatpost are an absolute nightmare 😫 so far so good with this frame, should look brand new once back from paint and has the replacement decals on 👍

CRC or WD - 40 can help or just a bit of heat from a heat gun or LPG torch but that may require localised repainting .
