Was a blue alpha belt fan but it was too tactical for a lot of sitiuations and hard to adjust. Then switched to nextbelt cause it adjusted easier but over time it frayed a lot and buckle stuck all the time. Went to the NRA show and discovered Kore belts and decided to try it out. A year later I can say it is an all around better belt with way more selection and cheaper. Bought them for my 2 sons even though they dont carry and they love them too

I started with Nexbelt and loved it to begin with. Got very frustrated with the fraying. Decided to try a Kore and will now we buy a Nexbelt again. The Kore is several steps above the Nexbelt in quality and every characteristic.

Kore essentials in my opinion is a great belt and system as well. I have 2 of their leather belts and 1 of their canvas belts. I have been wear for about same length of time as you and they are by far the best I've worn, and the release on that buckle is a God send especially after a great meal....lol.

I have a 1 1/2" leather dress belt from Nextbelt and have clipped a SteathGearUSA IWB VentCore holster with metal clips on it daily for almost three years. It has a different buckle style with a single lever, has worked flawlessly and still looks good. Great video, '76.

Collected a lot of belts over my 26 yr. LE career and OD work but I find myself gravitating to the Kore for EDC. Mostly because the track system sizing it right for my waist all the time, the buckle is very robust, the belt is high quality and doesnt seem to wear and they have a big, big selection that is interchangeable so I can swap out

So I checked the websites and Kore has a whole damn collection of pretty cool 1.75" buckles and belt colors, in tactical AND leather for $80. Nexbelt site shows 1 square blocky buckle and 1 belt for $100!! Kore also has competition shooting belts, exec protection belts, battle belts, and even LE duty belts! Nexbelt has none. Not much to compare there. Just my 2 cents.

I have four Kore essential belts and love them…been a customer for 3+ years also. I have different colors and styles for casual and dress occasions. My only complaint was rectified with Kore’s new buckles. I used to have to move buckle to 3 o-clock to carry appendix because the buckle was too wide to fit between the clips of my Holster. The new buckles from Kore are more narrow and remedy this issue.

I dont like the stitche- on top of the Nexbelt. The fraying around the edges after one month is absolutely no bueno, IMO. Also the narrow strip of liner between the plastic ratchet and edge of the belt looks cheap. I recently bought a Kore 1.75" Garrison belt. This is a first-time departure from the 1.75" triple ply Klik gunbelts with Cobra buckles that I've used for almost a decade. The Kore resembles the outside of the Klik belt - much more than the Nexbelt. TBO, the Nexbelt looks like a poor me-too knock-off of the Kore belt... that costs 20 dollars more.

I have a Nexbelt that I have worn for 3 years and carried OWB daily with it and I carry all the time that I am not sleeping. and it still looks basically new. I have replaced it because I gained weight and it was cut too short. I now have a Kore and a Nexbelt wearing both for over the past year. The Kore belt has bent from my holster, but that is not stopping me from wearing it. I definitely prefer the Nexbelt buckle. In summary I think they are both good belts with a slight edge to the Nexbelt and a preference for the Nexbelt buckle. All these belts are 1.5 inch, I wear jeans and the 1.75 inch don't fit the belt loops. And both belts were the $60 belts.

My issue with the nexbelt is that it prints worse than any pistol has for me. I have to flip it upside down and put this buckle in back. I use a groove belt which isn't the most rigid but doesn't add to printing for me. I need a belt that sits in between those 2. Any ideas?

I've been using NexBelt for about 4 years......every day. Zero problems. My belt has frayed but I just took a lighter to it and burned off the excess. It hasn't affected the rigidity or performance of the belt. I got my Nexbelt for $59. The Kore Esstentials is $30 more.

@@rotadyma NO - Our 1.5" wide gun belts have ALWAYS been $59 - since 2015 when we first released them. We have never raised the price. If you paid $30 more maybe you must have bought it from a 3rd party that jacked up the price. BTW in 2015 nextbelt did not have a gun belt yet. We were the first to market with the reinforced ratchet gun belt - they followed 2 years later. Thanks.
