Definitely gonna make this for my dad. He was stationed in Korea in the early 80’s, before I was born, and talks about Bulgogi all of the time. We’ve been looking for a good recipe to try out and this one honestly looks like the best. I think it traditionally has green onions cooked in with the meat but I don’t see how the white onion could be bad. Plus with the addition of fresh green onions on top... just 👌🏼👌🏼 this looks incredible!

I love this stuff. When I was growing up in SE Texas, there was a barbecue joint in my town that got bought out by an Asian family. They started selling "bul-go-ki" one night a week. Exact same stuff. Fell in love with it then and have since made it a few times. One time when I was out of steak, I discovered that you can marinate and cook Spam the same way. While it's no bulgogi, it's not bad for a quick and dirty lunch.

Bulgogi (literal translation is "fire meat") is one of my top favorite go-to's as a marinade for just about all kinds of meat, though I haven't tried making it with fish... I agree, try this recipe! Try it on pork, chicken, venison! Experiment with the ingredients to your taste. A little more soy + water = a more liquid base you can let sit in the fridge for days (up to 5 for red meats). Try cutting the meat in 1" cubes then cook on the grill (gas and charcoal) using a skewer! Try the meat with mushrooms, onions, green peppers and make a Philly cheese! Good video! I'll be checking out your others
