Some real facts about Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world and the most diverse, with a rich blend of ethnicities. It has the largest Japanese community outside Japan, and also significant Italian, Lebanese, Portuguese, Angolan, and Mozambican communities, in addition to the indigenous peoples who were the original inhabitants of Brazil. It’s important to recognize that Portugal did not "discover" Brazil, as it was already inhabited by indigenous peoples. Awareness of this history is growing, and there is a better understanding now about the true nature of the “colonization”. Brazil is home to 2 of the New Seven Wonders of the World: the Christ the Redeemer statue and the Iguazu Falls, which are also one of the New Seven Natural Wonders. The pioneer of aviation, Alberto Santos-Dumont, was Brazilian, though the Wright brothers also played a crucial role in the development of the airplane. Brazil is one of the countries with the most airports in the world, with over 4,000. São Paulo is the largest city in Brazil and the richest in Latin America, and it is one of the cities with the highest number of helicopter flights in the world. The capital of Brazil is Brasília. Carnival is celebrated throughout Brazil, with each city having its own traditions, contributing to the country’s immense diversity.

They ended alluvial gold and exploited a large part of Brazilian ores to give to England. 4 Even robbing other countries at the same time, Portugal is carried by the EU and their only historical relevance were marked by slavery, deaths, rape, robbery and destruction. 5 their old colony is much more relevant than themselves, showing how failed portugueses are.

She gave some wrong information, in the south of Brazil there are some places that do snow! And about the language, we speak Portuguese, I saw that she got a little confused trying to explain, the way she spoke, it seemed like we spoke a language derived from Portuguese, but no! It's normal Portuguese, just a few words that are different and the accent, but we have different accents all over Brazil too! And about the umbrella in the summer, it's a lie that people look strange at those who use an umbrella when the sun is out! Me,myself,my mother, aunts, grandparents, and other's people use umbrellas when it's very hot, but not to not get a tan, like koreans, but because no one can stand roasting under the sun for a long time, there's a risk of skin cancer! And also to not sweat so much, nobody can't handle the heat! My whole childhood, I always used an umbrella to go to school when I studied in the afternoon and it was that scorching 12:00 sun that burns your skin.

She doesn't explain facts about Brazil really well, but I see she tried her best with the knowledge she had. One thing I would like to point out is we don't say Portuguese "discovered" Brazil anymore, it was been taught to us this way for a long time, but now eurocentric concepts are being discarded from our society. Brazil already had millions of native people before the arrival of the Portuguese. And the Portuguese language was forced into the region with colonization. 💀 At least nowdays Brazil have much more influence in portuguese speakers countries. Brazilian Portuguese is very different from the original because we had influence for diverse cultures as well as the native indigenous ones. So for our big size we export a lot of midias in our language for the others countries, and now we influence more Portugal than the opposite.

They changed the capital of Brazil to Brasília because it is located in the center and it is easier to government the country with more ease. Also in the past when Portugal colonized Brazil, there were 100+ native languages that existed in Brazil, as Tupi-Guarani (indigenous language) but in Brazil we don't study past native languages in the school, because some of them got lost and the rest that is there, our country doesn't teach it. So Portuguese and English are the only languages present in schools, be it public or private school.
